Ideas for Packed Lunches
As a setting, we promote Healthy Eating by encouraging the children to have a varied diet. We've put together some ideas to help you help us.
Top tips for success:
- Include a drink (we suggest water)
- Don't forget a spoon if required for yoghurt
- Make substitutions as desired but don't overfill
- Remember that high protein foods will help children stay fuller for longer
- Putting things in containers helps to keep them fresh
- Add a freezer pack to the lunch bag to keep it cold until lunchtime
- We are a nut free setting so no nut products please
